The Leveling Kit provides Keysteps to support sample keys, which in turn support a straightedge for key leveling. Referencing case parts and keypins, decide on and preset heights for the outermost naturals and sharps by inserting cut balance punchings with tweezers. Remove frontrail punchings from sample keys and slip on the Keysteps, turning them up to just touch their keys (now these keys will be level when the rest of the keys have been leveled and the Keysteps have been removed).
This kit includes:
- 4 12mm Keysteps
- 4 10mm Keysteps (to accommodate shorter keypins)
- One Combination Ratcheting Wrench
- One zippered bag
the regulating rack
Letoff racks provide letoff for a section. Regulating Racks provide the entire strike profile and change its height as needed for the whole action.
Applying The System
The Setup and Order of Operations guides you step by step and the Laminated Protocols let you tick off steps as you go, so you don't get out of order or leave something out.
The Regulating Rack's rail has LEDs that illuminate both templates and action. The Hammer Hanging Jig has its own LEDa, too. And Lighting Rails come in four sizes to shine light wherever you need it.
