Ben Rocke RPT has come up with a most simple and precise method for leveling sharps. These blocks have five heights from 15/32" to 1/2" in .007" increments (12mm to 12.7mm, the standard industry range). Support notes 1 and 88 at the correct height with Keysteps and add the Blocks to support your key leveling straightedge at the height that works best for that action's geometry. These may also be found in the Leveling Kit and the Leveling-Sampling Kit.
