Description
The Starter Setup Kit facilitates setting up a grand action on your bench. The four pairs of aluminum strips with double-sided tape serve four functions. The longest strips hug the sides of the keyframe to fix its position side-to-side and are in turn hugged by the Regulating Rack fixing its side-to-side position. The next-to-shortest strips stop the back of the keyframe, fixing it front-to-back but allowing it to be removed from the front and returned to exactly the same location. The smallest strips stop the Regulating Rack at strike (all regulating happens behind that position) and the next-to-longest ones are used to gently clamp down the guide pins to secure the frontrail of the keyframe. This double-sided tape is strong enough to hold the strips in place but can be readily removed from strips and bench when done. The strips can be used over and over.
